Thompson NightWatch Adventure

On June 18th, we will begin a year-long internship in Kansas City with the Night Watch at the International House of Prayer (IHOP). We will be taking classes and serving alongside the other staff and interns at IHOP while spending our nights from midnight to six in the prayer room with Jesus. We are so incredibly excited to begin this crazy adventure of marriage by sitting together in His presence. Both of us have spent the past couple of years in ministry in some capacity, and the Lord is now calling us into a season dedicated to just being with Him, hitting "pause" on other parts of our lives and getting to deeply know the God to whom we've given our lives. He is so worthy of all our time and energy. He is so worthy of our worship and prayer in the night. As He works out all the details of this whole journey, we are constantly humbled by both His power and His kindness on our behalf. He is writing such a beautiful story with our lives. We want to invite all of you to partner with us in this grand adventure as we take this first step into all He has planned for our lives and our marriage. There is no way we can do this without you. Please join with us in prayer and consider becoming a member of both our prayer and financial team. We are responsible for $2000 for the program itself, half of which is due before the start of the internship. Because of the full-time, rigorous nature of the position, we are not allowed to work an additional job. However, we will additionally need to raise $700- $800 per month for living expenses and monthly costs. The goal number here represents the funds we will need throughout the year, but since much of this is comprised of monthly costs, we are asking that you consider making your support a monthly donation.
