Bentonville Heart Lites for MS 2020
Tax deductible
The term Multiple Sclerosis (or MS) means many scars. MS damages the nerve insulation (leaving a scar) in the brain and spinal cord area. This scarring causes a disruption in the ability of the nerves to conduct electrical impulses to and from the brain.
Bentonville Heart Lites relies on electricity and literally miles of wiring (like a human nervous system) to run tens of thousands animated Christmas Lights for the community's enjoyment. Imagine if we tried to run our display without any insulation on our electrical wires (millions of individuals with MS live this way every day).
MS is currently a life-long condition with people often living 40 to 50 years with the disabling symptoms. While research has led to improved treatments, there is no cure.
Visiting our Bentonville Heart Lites Christmas Light Display is free, always has been free, and will always be free...
but if you want to join us in spreading even more holiday cheer...
and join us in having a greater impact this holiday season...
please consider donating.
Any amount is appreciated and will help!!
We have close friends with kids who have MS as well as adult friends with MS. We chose Rampy MS Research because it is a local outreach for MS but also because we know the funds go directly to researchers across the country. This charity is run completely by Jo Rampy (diagnosed with MS in 2002) and her husband Scott, who are full-time champions for MS Research.
Will you please help? Thank you!
