As many of you know, Coach Adam Looney (Daphne High School Soccer Coach) was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumors on his spine and liver January 2019. For the first two years of his diagnosis he was on oral chemo treatments every two weeks. Since then he has been off oral chemo for a few months to give his body a break and has had rounds of scans done to determine the next step. His neuroendocrine doctor, Dr. Maluccio, has decided the best route of treatment will be chemoembolization of the liver. This treatment will be broken into 3 segments of the liver and says the success rate is very high!

Adam’s first round of this treatment was on September 21, he will go back in 4-6 for the next one and the final round will be 4-6 weeks after that. Each of these treatments cost $3000 with insurance! . Coach Looney and his wife Jordan( Also a coach at Daphne) need help paying for these treatments. Understandably, medicines and procedures are terribly expensive and it is hard for a young couple to afford these expenses alone. They also have a baby boy on the way due in January.
