Bianca's Bobsled Dream

Hi my name is Bianca Ribi. I am living out my dream to represent Canada on the international stage through Bobsledding, The fastest sport on ice! Let me tell you my story of hard work, adversity, success, education and reaching for the stars and living a dream.
Last year I earned a spot on the World Cup team where I was able to apply my many experiences from sports, life, competition, teamwork, and leadership. After a successful year, I finished off with the World Championship in Whistler where I was selected to compete in the team race.
Now in my second year of bobsled I took on a new challenge, becoming a driver!
In September, I competed in the 2019-20 Team Push trials and beat the old record that Kaillie Humphries held! The head coach had many words of encouragement including the possibility of medaling at the 2022 Olympics! I have gained several new experiences as a driver which include having had the chance to enter into 5 races, and learn 5 brand new tracks taking me to 4 different countries. I had the opportunity to travel to Europe in December 2019 of this past season being one of few first year pilots ever to compete in the Europa Cup! I just recently returned from Whistler where I took on the fastest and most dangerous track in the world. After a successful few weeks of training I head into the off season with confidence and high hopes for what I will accomplish next season. I can’t do this alone, I need your help! Would you please partner with me and help sponsor my new dream to compete and stand on the podium for Canada on the international stage! Thank you!
