In Memory of Bianca Christina Vasquez (donate via Venmo)

A memorial service honoring Bianca’s life will be held on Friday, May 17 at 12pm at La Purisima Catholic Church in Orange, CA. A reception will be held following the ceremony at a location nearby.

I will continue to collect contributions via venmo @Elisa-Gahng until Thursday 5/16, and deliver them to the family at the service. Many thanks to those of you who have already given.

Update 5/2/2024

Bianca passed away yesterday after a hard fought battle with cancer. Her husband was by her side when she passed in peace and her daughter had a chance to say goodbye to her mom. We are heartbroken to lose her. Bianca brought light and joy with her wherever she went, and she lived life unafraid to hold and express deep emotions for those closest to her. Thank you so much for your support - your help over the last year allowed Bianca and her family to experience a few moments of ease during a very difficult time.

Her family is still figuring out plans for a ceremony honoring her life. In the meantime, if anyone would like to contribute funds, you're welcome to venmo me @Elisa-Gahng. Please do not donate on this website, because it is directly attached to Bianca's account, and we don't have access to it currently. I will share any funds received by venmo, along with names of contributers, with the family next week.

We all know that Bianca is an amazing friend, family member and mom. Over the past two years, she has quietly fought breast cancer, undergoing grueling bouts of chemo and radiation - all while maintaining her sunny and optimistic outlook. Her cancer has progressed to stage 4 and spread to her bones, which has led to several physical limitations. She recently had surgery on her right arm to help give her more use of her dominant hand.
