Help George Bianchi with the Draeger suppression!

Dear Criminal Defense Bar -
We are asking defense attorneys to consider a $500 donation to this campaign to help us fund George Bianchi through the Washington Supreme Court. As most DUI practitioners know, George has been doing an incredible job arguing the 10% motion. As a result of his efforts, deals are being made and breath tests are being suppressed all over the state. While the issue is ultimately headed to the Washington State Supreme Court for argument, judges have declined a stay on many cases and arguments continue to move forward. George is arguing this motion all over the state - Whatcom, Pierce, Snohomish, Grays Harbor, Kirkland, Seattle Municipal and Spokane are all jurisdictions where the motion is set and George is being contacted weekly by others asking for his assistance.
In addition to the extraordinary amount of research and briefing that went into developing this issue, George is also devoting an incredible amount of time each time he argues it, often requiring him to travel long distances and stay overnight. He has literally put in thousands of hours working on this issue and there are countless hours coming up.
To date, the Washington State Foundation of Criminal Justice has contributed $15,000 to help offset his time, with the expectation of contributing more to ensure that he is able to make these arguments that benefit ALL of our clients, but we are hoping to raise another $25,000 to get this through the Supreme Court. We are asking that members of the criminal defense bar consider donating to this cause. This money will directly benefit George’s time and travel. If you have a case that has been impacted by this motion, please consider donating $500 or an amount that suits you and your practice. Thank you!
