Bich'ebi [boys]: A Documentary Short Film

Hi!

We are a team of four filmmakers based in Stockholm, Sweden, in the process of making our first visual documentary about two young men in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The directors and creative producers are Ellen Gustavsson and Nathalié Williamsdotter, the Director of Photography is Marcell Lobenwein and our Sound Designer is Jonas Rudels.

The two young men in our documentary, Gio and Misho, share a brotherly bond and a vulnerable friendship. They are a part of the first generation growing up in Georgia after the rise and fall of the former Soviet Union. We want to capture the breathtaking environment of Georgia, the unbreakable bond between two young men, and their stories containing sadness, longing, love, and gratitude towards life and each other.

At the end of May 2023 (19-31st of May), we will travel to Georgia.

With your help, we will be able to produce and direct this documentary with a focus on visual storytelling; beginning its journey in Tbilisi and traveling through the country all the way to Batumi. The film will later be released on several platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube, and Social Media. We will also apply for more funding and to film festivals.
