Bicycle Barry Hospitalized - NEEDS OUR HELP!

On Jan 2, 2025, Barry Hammond was on his way home from work when he was involved in a hit-and-run accident. He's a cyclist who gave up driving years ago. The driver who hit him followed him for two blocks. Barry thought he was just trying to scare him, but when he entered the street to cross, the driver sped up and ran him over. Barry suffered an “open fracture” of the ankle and his bike was crushed. Thanks to pedestrians and the quick work of the police, they were able to catch the driver and put him in jail.

Barry has a good job and disability insurance; his long-term prospects are good. But for the next few months, he is going to have a very hard time covering his bills, as he is NOT ABLE to WORK for a while. And once healed, he will also need a new bike, his only means of transportation. Barry's goal is to be back in the saddle and pedaling as quickly as possible.
