Big Al needs a new Power Chair, Plus

We secured funding for Big Al's new power wheelchair! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to date and we continue to raise funds for Big Al. I spoke via video chat with Al yesterday and he's super happy knowing he is getting the love he'd hoped for after all of the publicity and feedback Carts of Darkness has received. His disability goes beyond using a wheelchair. Living on one myself I know the costs that never stop. Al and I discussed what to do if people still want to help him and immediately what we can do is improve the wheelchair access to his parent's basement. This includes repairs caused by his wheelchair and a few ramps etc. The ramps (like all accessibility anywhere) will not only be a huge benefit to Al but for anyone else visiting that could use it. I'd like to keep visiting Al, so I'll be posting more videos on YouTube once I get vaxxed.
Big Al of "Carts of Darkness" needs help. Around 2015 he was seriously injured in a fall at Grouse Mountain which left him to rely on a wheelchair. He suffered damage to his ankles and hips that now prevent him from walking. Al could walk again (and hopefully ride shopping carts too) but for now, I want to help him replace his power wheelchair which is currently worn out. Due to the pandemic, Al moved home to his parent's basement which also could use some accessibility renovations. I may also pursue physio for Al to help get back on his feet. Right now, I want to keep him mobile so he doesn't lose faith. He's in great spirits these days, and his parents are taking great care of him. The situation is somewhat urgent as his current chair is dying.
My name is Murray Siple and I'm the director of the 2008 documentary Carts of Darkness. I will be in charge of overseeing this account for Al. All monies donated will go 100% to his mobility needs and rehab.
