Big Creek MTB - New DROP ZONE Construction

Roswell Alpharetta Mountain Biking Organization (RAMBO) is a volunteer group dedicated to developing and maintains mountain biking opportunities in Fulton and Forsyth Counties. We maintain and support trails at Big Creek Park in Roswell, Mt. Adams in Alpharetta; Haw Creek, Matt Park, and Charleston Park in Forsyth County.

RAMBO is planning to supplement and approved Eagle Scout project for the actual wood drops by building the new trail leading to and from the new drops along with expanding the existing picnic area. We also plan to surround the drop zone with new split rail fencing to separate the bikes from the walking trails in that area. In addition, we plan to use this money to help us purchase a 20' shipping container to store our tools and supplies for our XC events and maintenance and to purchase any material needed to building new signage for this popular entrance to the trails.

Our XC trails are an amazing asset to our community and RAMBO is excited to continue improving them. This project adds another layer of value to our riders and creates and expands our campus of training opportunities. From our pump tracks to our skills area and now the new drop zone, this will create a vibrant and processive experience for riders of all skill levels.
