BIG Haircut for Cancer and Ukraine

I’m Emily, a holistic wellness practitioner - based in London and Bristol.

Once again, I’ll be chopping off my long hair, and donating it to The Little Princess Trust, whom provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer.

The money raised will be put into a fund to pay for holistic treatments for those affected by cancer, and for Ukrainian refugees. This means that those affected by cancer, and those affected by the war on Ukraine will be able to receive treatments at a largely discounted and accessible rate - if we can raise enough the treatments will hopefully be free!

The devastating impact the last few years had on the NHS, means that many people are receiving late diagnosis of cancer. From personal experience, I know how beneficial Reflexology can be, in offering a moment of grounding reconnection to themselves, to encourage relaxation and provide even a moment of peace during such a challenging time.

Whilst the media coverage on the war against Ukraine has gone quiet, the reality is, the situation is just as awful as ever. We have opened our doors to those impacted by the terrible actions inflicted onto them.

Situations like these can leave us feeling rather helpless, but instead of focusing on what you feel you can’t do, let’s focus on what we can do. If you haven’t already, maybe consider opening your home to Ukrainians. If that’s not something that you can do, I invite you to help me to help them.

I’m a small, local business, and whilst I would absolutely love to offer free treatments to everyone, I simply can’t afford to.

So, what I’m asking is for you to donate anything that you can, no matter how small. This will all go into a pot, the more we raise the cheaper the treatments will be and the more people we can help.
