We are hoping to raise the funds to send Big Handsome to a board and train or a sanctuary.

Sadly this 2 and a half year old amazing pup is in a dire place right now. If you have some extra funds, we really could use the help. And if you are available to adopt (or foster) or if you know of a sanctuary or board and train that can help PLEASE let us know. We are desperate.

Help Big Handsome Find His Forever Home

Meet Big Handsome, a lovable 3-year-old pit bull mix in urgent need of a savior. This affectionate pup, who is up-to-date on all his shots but still requires neutering, is currently stuck in boarding at the vet. Despite the challenges he's faced, Big Handsome remains a gentle giant who adores people and is wonderful with children.

A Special Dog with Specific Needs

Big Handsome has a unique personality and needs a home where he can be the sole pet. He truly is the king of his castle and thrives best in an environment where he doesn’t have to share the spotlight with other animals.

A Journey of Resilience

His journey hasn't been easy. Abandoned in January 2024, Big Handsome was taken in by a compassionate couple who dedicated over a year to caring for him. During this time, he tested positive for heartworm but has successfully completed his treatment. However, due to an incident involving another dog, the home he came to know and love is no longer an option for him.

A Call for Rescue

The ideal situation for Big Handsome would be placement with a reputable rescue organization. This would allow him to undergo the necessary training to help him thrive in a new environment. We have received pledges to support his transition to a rescue, ensuring he gets the care and attention he needs.
