Big Hug Box: Random Acts of Kindness Day
"Spreading Kindness whilst Supporting Research"
Join The Big Hug Box on Random Acts of Kindness Day (17th Feb) and help them spread kindness to Australians who need it the most.
Every day, our Big Hug Box community shows the power and impact of small acts of kindness for Australians fighting cancer and their families.
This Random Act of Kindness Day we encourage you to make a donation either large and small, that will assist us in our goal of delivering as many cancer care packs as possible to patients across Australia needing a Big Hug. Each care pack is filled with all the practical and empowering products to help with their treatment.
Our Big Hug Boxes are hand-selected and made with care to bring a moment of joy to each cancer patient and promote wellness throughout their treatment. On top, we include thoughtful messages of hope to help Australians through their journey.
A beautiful message from Sarah, one of our regular donors of Big Hug Boxes.
"The heart I felt from this organisation was so strong that I just knew the impact of these Random Hug of Kindness Boxes would be so great on all those who receive them. Lifting and empowering, it is just so amazing. I am so grateful to have found this great cause"- Sarah Hunter
Your donations will allow us to send our special boxes to some of our partnering centres below
- Olivia Newton John Centre, Melbourne
- Genesis Care, Lake Macquarie
- Allan Walker Cancer Centre, Northern Territory
- Calvary Mater, Newcastle
- Peninsula Private Hospital
A little more about The Big Hug Box -
We are a registered NFP charity based in Newcastle that helps ease the uncertainty and emotions that the patients and their loved ones feel when they hear the word cancer.
With all profits from sales donated to Cure Cancer, we are helping patients now through our gift boxes and those diagnosed in the future, through funding our youngest and brightest cancer researchers in finding a cure.
