Big Minds is an attachment-based, community-focused school designed to give students the time and support necessary to grow into thoughtful, articulate citizens. We serve the twice-exceptional, or "2e" community - a term that refers to people who are both gifted and have one or more disabilities. Our curriculum is strengths-led and project-based, and our student-to-teacher ratio is 4:1. We give our students the tools to navigate the world successfully, but on their own terms and as their authentic selves.
Your contribution to this fundraiser helps us continue to provide the following to our students and families:
- Individualized family tuition rates based on need
- 4:1 student-teacher ratio
- Support for project-based learning, big and small
- Counseling support (1:1 and group sessions)
- Outreach and advocacy for the 2e community
