Big news... We're adopting!

We are Kirsten & Chad Vincent, and we have been happily married for four years. We do not have any children. From the beginning of our relationship, we talked about our future children. We have always been surrounded by kids and always assumed we would have the opportunity to be awesome parents one day. The path to getting there, however, has been different than what we expected.

After three years of infertility struggles, we realized something greater was meant to be. Adoption is our calling, and it is not unfamiliar to us. Kirsten has two aunts who chose adoption, giving her two adopted cousins. Chad has co-workers who have recently gone through the adoption process. We have been able to gain so much insight from these families to help guide us in this direction. We’re excited that our home study is complete, and hopeful to be matched soon.

We believe the total cost of our adoption will be about $40,000, $5,000 of which we have already paid. We are actively saving money each month and applying for grants to help with future payments. Through applying for grants, it was suggested that we create this crowdfunding page to invite our family, friends, and colleagues to make a donation in support of our adoption.
