Big Shoes to Fill for the Alemi Family

The Alemi Family had a dream of finally owning a home of their own and moving to a place where their kids could be safe and have a yard to play. As their sole financial provider, Mike worked tirelessly to give his family the life and home he and Sharon had envisioned for their children. Before their youngest son was born, they finally had saved enough to buy a home in Boyertown which had everything they hoped for. The picture above was taken on their porch on Memorial Day and you can see the pride and joy in their eyes as they celebrate their forever home with Sharon's mom, the children's beloved grandmother. Soon after moving in, they welcomed Baby Jack (pictured in the profile) into the world making their dream and family complete. 

Unfortunately, this family's story did not end there. On Wednesday, April 14th, Mike was tragically taken from them. While he was working to provide for his family, Mike suffered a heart attack and passed away. There are no words to describe what his family is going through as they try to come to terms with how such a big, strong man could be taken from them so suddenly. His co-workers had nicknamed Mike "The Gentle Giant" because that's what he was - a big man with a big heart. Whenever anyone needed help, Mike selflessly did all he could for them. He was the rock that his family and friends leaned on in times of need and now, as his wife and four children grieve for him and are filled with fear about what the future holds for them, they are the ones in need. Please help this family keep everything Mike worked his whole life for. Mike left some big shoes to fill, but I know with your help we can honor his memory and give his family some hope that all of his hard work was not done in vain. 

As Sharon's sister, I am organizing this campaign to help raise money for Sharon and her four kids - two of whom have special needs and the youngest being only 7 months old - to keep their home and keep Mike's dream alive.
