Veteran with Complex surgery needs help for family

Hi, my name is Michael,

I've been laid up for 6 years now from intestinal problems and complications. I also can't walk from being in a hospital bed to long.

My wife has taken care of me this whole time and it's been very hard on her and my 4 young daughters. I have a very big operation coming up that will have me in the hospital for months like the last one and when I'm in the hospital my wife doesn't get paid, because she is my caregiver. I have no income and lawers COULDN'T get ssi for me.the VA won't help because this was NOT  military related. I'm asking for help so my family can pay the rent and bills while I'm in the hospital. This is very stressful for me because I can't help my own family, this doesn't help someone heal when they're worried about the family becoming homeless.
