Big Tho’s Road to Recovery

Thoris Stringfield is a Well known club DJ in the Houston urban nightlife. He goes by the nickname “Big Tho”, and his latest venture was providing Exotic Rice & Bites catering during the pandemic.

Thoris is also a loving and dedicated “Girl dad”, who has proudly promoted a father/daughter dance in the city for the past 3 years to help Father’s build stronger relationships with their daughters. He is advocate to giving back to the city and volunteering to help others. At this time due to his illness he is unable to work. Thoris is currently furloughed and his medical bills are not covered.

His dreams and aspirations came to a halt on 9/11/20 after being diagnosed with Diabetes. The struggle took a quick turn that he did not see coming nor was prepared for. Tho has undergone 2 surgeries in September and On Monday 10/5 he had a major surgery that resulted in life altering changes. The family is grateful for all your love, prayers, and with your support he will bounce back.
