Big V Sanctuary May appeal

Hi, I have set up this fundraiser to raise money for the Big V Sanctuary. They are a fabulous vegan animal sanctuary based in France, run by Miranda and Jerome, and their children Louis and Wynnie. A lifelong sanctuary for over 150 animals, as well as an oasis for visiting wildlife in their area.

They both have BIG birthdays in May as well as BIG vet, hay and straw bills. The continued wet weather over spring meant they have had to keep animals in the barns for longer than normal which means the hay and straw is being used quicker than normal for food and bedding. They also have mounting vet bills, not just from the expected costs associated with 150 animals but also for the beautiful Winifred. She was one of the lambs rescued a couple of months ago - she arrived with a broken leg that never healed meaning the difficult decision was made to amputate. The good news is she is adapting quickly but she will need continued support. Lastly, £300 of this is for a set of shears for the flock - the hot, dry weather will be on us soon and with the recently extended sheep family there will be a lot of haircuts needed!
