Here in Madison Wi, we are standing up together to fight for abortion rights and the right to control our own bodies. We need every single person to join us in this fight. On January 22, people will be marching up State St to our states Capitol, to regain the right to choose. Organizing a mass movement such as this, is expensive. In order to conduct a successful and safe event, we are asking for your participation and financial support, with respect and gratitude.
Please join us Sunday January 22 at 11 am! Meet and gather at State St Mall (711 State St), where we will get fired up before marching up State St to the Capitol. Winning our right to choose impacts every single human being. Join us, our lives depend on it.
Proceeds go toward:
Reimbursement of MARRCH members who have purchased (out of pocket): sound systems; translators and interpreters for ASL, Spanish, Hmong; emergency safety kits/first aid; transportation for folks coming from other cities and states; hand warmers, bottled water, masks, banner materials- ie fabric, posters, paint; printing fliers, walkie talkies, tables, just to name a few!
