Bike Ride for Black Lives
My name is Alisha and a month ago I pledged to ride over 250 miles for a cause I felt very close to and I wanted to find a way to give that same energy back to a movement I’ve been part of my whole life.
Bike Ride for Black Lives is a community event to honor the #BlackLivesMatter movement and the fight to change the injustices in the Criminal Justice System.
I’m pledging to ride 400 miles (12 miles a day) in the month of July to honor the 400+ years the Black and African American community has been fighting for social justice in the United States.
Please join me in fundraising for the following 5 organizations who are actively aiding the cause and preserving our Black History. All funds will be distributed evenly to:
Black Lives Matter

NAACP Legal Defense Fund

Let’s keep the movement going!
