Amputee Biking from Alaska to Patagonia
Donation protected
Last summer, I had the opportunity to witness the solitude of the desert, the magic of the forests, and the power of mountains as I hiked 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail. The six-month trek opened my eyes to what is possible as an amputee and left a craving for new ways to explore my body and our world.
So, this summer, with your help, I will be setting off from the northernmost point of Alaska to cycle the approximately 16,000 miles to the southernmost point of South America - Ushuaia, Argentina. I aim to travel the entire distance under my own power, to find new limits in wild places, and to document the rhythm of adventure as an amputee.
I am calling on your help to get me to the start line! Any donations will go to building out the support van, purchasing the bike and gear that will go the distance, travel fees such as border crossings, and the camera and video equipment that will allow us to create professional content to document the adventure and hopefully help inspire and connect the amputee community!
