My name is Logan Mader,

Recently, my father fell and broke his shoulder. He had an emergency replacement surgery and it was successful, but then it got infected. He went back in for emergency surgery to remove the implant. That procedure was a success, and he returned home. In 90 days when this is healed, he will have another shoulder replacement surgery. I believe he will pull through that as well. Meantime, my amazing stepmother is taking care of him. She recently went through chemo for lung cancer, and that went well all, things considered but now is diagnosed with skin cancer, so she is still in the fight. Things are challenging. Despite what the Internet might lead you to believe or what you might think based on all the things I do for work, I am not rich yet. I’m still working on that among other things, but I cannot complain, my life is awesome and I’m grateful for this. My parents live on a fixed income, and they are not rich but they are happy. I’ve been contributing all that I can to help out right now, but it’s not enough. I would love to help by providing a caregiver to visit them during the day in their home. Insurance does not cover this, so, I’m swallowing a big lump of pride and asking anyone who might be able to help through this go fund me that I set up. Any little bit will be very helpful and greatly appreciated. I set it up to fund my father’s bank account directly.
