Bill and RaNae Ward

Hello, my name is Shelly Riggs. RaNae and I have been close Friends (like Sisters) for 35 years, and close friends with Bill since they’ve been married. Watching them go through this is tearing me apart. I’ve been feeling helpless and trying to find ways to help them.

As many of you know, Bill and RaNae have been struggling with health issues for years. Bill has been battling cancer for over five years. Currently the cancer has spread throughout his body and there is nothing more they can do for him. He has been put on hospice and they have only given him up to 6 months to live.

One of Bill’s greatest concerns is that RaNae may not be able to manage financially, and keep their modest home after he is gone.

They don’t have any life insurance, currently, and the medical bills are astronomical. They have had to use credit cards to pay some of the medical bills which has created an additional hardship. Understandably, they don’t have the money for funeral services or a grave site. Most people in their fifties don’t have to worry about these things.

With help paying the $31,000 in medical bills and burial expenses, RaNae can afford to stay in the house and meet expenses month to month. This will give Bill some peace of mind so he can focus on spending quality time with RaNae, Family and Friends for his last days .

My hope is that we can all pull together to help RaNae and Bill through this hardship. Any help you can give would be Greatly Appreciated.
