Bill Blok family heart attack recovery fund

Hey this is Kaitlin Dibble of Jason Ricci and the Bad Kind. A coupl e days before Christmas, our bass player Mr Bill Blok, had a serious heart attack. He is in stable condition, awaiting triple bypass surgery out here in New Orleans.

He is going to need to take several months off of work to heal up. While Jason Ricci and the Bad Kind will be hitting the road next month, Bill Blok is not going to be able to be on the next several tours.

You know what Bill should be doing during the next few months? Nothing! Maybe going on walks around City Park... listening to WWOZ, or sipping chamomile tea and cuddling up with his doggies and his lovely partner Alison Regalado. But when you're planning on this work to help pay rent how on earth do you take time to heal? Well, thats what I'm asking everybody our here for help with. Help us give the Blok household the help they need to allow Bill Blok to heal up.

Now anyone who knows Bill Blok knows this guy is as tough as they come. He's a veteran in both the road AND the military sense of the word. So you can imagine it's pretty hard to convince Bill to take time away from work and let his body heal. No lugging amps up flights of stairs, no 3hr shows, and overnight drives, I dont even think Saints games are safe. We need Bill Blok in top flight condition. And when you love a crazy ferret like Bill Blok sometimes you gotta wrangle him. He is going to be on a strictly chamomile, puppies and love lifestyle over the next several months.
