To Friends and Family of William " Bill" Childers

     On February 2, 2018 sadly, we lost a longtime friend and colleague William "Bill" Childers. Bill's courageous struggle with his illness is an inspiration to us all. Bill had a unique sense of humor and calmness about him which he kept right up to his final day.

     Bill had an impeccable work record of some 40 years in retail management with the same company. His commitment to always doing his best is a lesson for all of us. His dedication to his work and sacrifice impacted countless people. Bill continued to work until he was physically unable to perform his duties.

     But most of all Bill was a loving and caring father to his three children Emily, Hannah, and Matt. Words cannot express the loss they are currently feeling. Losing their father at their young age just as they are starting on their own life journeys must be frightening. They were his life along with Elijah his grandson. Their memories of Bill will always be with them and help them get through the rough times.

     As friends of Bill we also have memories and would like to have a memorial dedicated in his name.  It could be a memorial through his church, a scholarship etc. We would let Emily, Hannah, and Matt decide what they fill would be the best.
