Bill Corcoran Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser

Donation protected
This is additional memo on our Cancer Fundraiser. Hello my name is Bill Corcoran and on Sept 8, 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and stomach Cancer cells. I have been through many medical treatments and several complications have developed over and above my insurance coverage due to rising costs due to several unknown or expected Cancer complications. The medical costs are depleting my savings on what I can afford and thus fundraising is felt to be an option. I still owe thousands of dollars for all the treatment to date. Knowing what is owe currently , and approximately what will be needed to cover the additional costs when known, is what I am asking for help on. Any additional monies left if any, will go to charity. Next year the plan is to carry improved insurance where the monthly premium more covers all and not like I have currently. I had many complications such as a colon emergency operation so I could pass bowels and digest food. The price tag on that was sky high. I also developed a colon hernia and require special belts that do different things to support properly. Hernia surgery is not out of the question. Several Ct Scans that continue every few months to check on Cancer progression, special appliances ( very expensive) for colon wear, prescriptions for skin rash caused by dry skin and raw areas of skin, additional prescription drugs are needed way over pre Cancer needs, and the drugs can interact causing other problems. My blood prressure med causes dizziness and quality of life is effected often.
Heart issues ie catheterization via wrist, full mri of heart, pulmonary appointments are forthcoming, many specialists, involved , and co-pays. Second opinions Sloan Ketttering NYC and Dana Farber Boston, MA. Travel costs, trains, buses, lodging, food, medical fees, ambulences to ER , ER rand hospital rooms as needed continual Chemotherapy and blood testing. at Caritas Mercy Springfiled,Ma. continues since first of the year for 3 weeks out of every 4 weeks. First time need for a blood thinner tablets that last a month and cost $155.00 due to a blood clot concern.. Special diet for proper foods and beverage for maintaining hydration for Cancer. to avoid dizziness and potential falls and broken bones. Additional vitamins now taken for system immunity.
