Hi, my name is Kasey and I’m fundraising for Bill Davis. You may have seen the attached viral video before, of Bill talking about his son Chris. I remember the first time I saw it. I broke down and sobbed like a child. As a fellow parent of a son with extensive needs, I cannot describe how it felt to have someone describe my life. Someone I had never even met. Bill is well known for his books and for his appearances talking about his unfaltering, unconditional love for his beautiful son. What many people don’t know, is that after the video stops, Bill and Chris still exist. There is no fairytale ending. Chris is no longer attending high school. He’s well into his adult years. And yet, he’s the same boy in the video. Time may pass, but the struggle of day to day survival is still very real. Please help Bill to be there for his son AND to make ends meet.
