Bill Forster Is In Grave Danger!

Howdy, y'all. You may remember me from such geeky projects as Transformers: A Visual History, the G.I. Joe Field Manual, Beast Wars Uprising, The Art of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and more.
I stand before you (metaphorically, not literally) because one of my oldest friends, Bill Forster, is facing an all too real struggle: Parkinson's Disease.
Bill is a great guy. I've known him for decades. He has a great eye for design, which is why I've proudly worked with him on more than half a dozen art books. He's a true animal lover, having served LA County as the kind of animal control officer that always deeply considers what's best for each and every critter that's ever crossed his path.
And he could really use your help. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't serious. Anything you can spare would go a long way.
It's hard, seeing your body betray you inch by inch. It's harder when you face a system that demands payment up-front before every treatment. If you can kick a couple of bucks his way I know he'd appreciate it. Medical expenses mount quickly.
Thanks for reading, my fellow robots/mutants/superheroes.
UPDATE
We are blown away by the generosity of everyone who has shared Bill's story or kicked in a few bucks. You've already made a huge difference. Bill wanted to share a few words of thanks:
