We are all devastated of the sudden passing of my dad, William John Gosch. This has left my mom, Mary Ann Gosch, lost and trying to figure out what tomorrow will look like. We are all coming together to help try and give him the proper burial he so richly deserves.
In fond remembrance of William Gosch, a beloved father, brother, brother in Christ and friend, we gather to celebrate a life that embraced faith, family, friendships and the beauty of nature. Bill was born on June 14, 1943 and went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2024. Bill's legacy is woven with the threads of devotion, love, and a deep connection to the Christian values he held dear.
As a father, Bill's influence extended to his three daughters, five stepdaughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a home filled with love for his wife, Mary Ann Gosch, of 31 years. Together with his cherished wife, Bill's journey through life was marked by service, both to his family and his country. His proud service in the Navy exemplified his commitment to duty and honor. Beyond the military, he continued to serve, contributing to the preservation of nature through his work with the California State Parks. Faith played a central role in Bill's life, and his devotion to God found expression through his involvement with the Powerhouse Church. His spiritual journey touched the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Bill's retirement from the California State Parks allowed him to fully indulge in his love for horticulture and nature. His appreciation for the natural world was not only a profession but a lifelong passion that brought him joy and fulfillment.
As we come together on February 15, 2024, to celebrate Bill's life, let us carry forward the lessons he imparted – the importance of love, service, and an unwavering faith. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing this remarkable man.
Rest in peace Dad
