Bill Shaffer Memorial

Hello my name is Joseph Patti and I am a Junior Firefighter with Hillsborough Fire Company # 2 and also a Scout with Troop 186 in Hillsborough New Jersey. I am working on my Eagle Scout project which is going to be a memorial for Assistant Chief William “Billy” Shaffer who gave the ultimate sacrifice while operating at box 3701 in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey on July 14, 2021. This memorial will be on display at the Hillsborough Municipal Complex and in the unfortunate event of any other firefighter in Hillsborough that is lost in the line of duty will have their name displayed on this memorial.
