Bill Shaw Mobility Drive

As you may have noticed, Bill Shaw has not been at Shanty Bay to ensure the tee blocks are perfect for all of you. Bill has been in the hospital for the last 40+ days undergoing several procedures, including the removal of his lower left leg. Bill has been in contact with a few of Shanty Bay's employees and members and is in good spirits. Unfortunately, Bill's life will be forever changed; to improve his mobility and quality of life, he will need special equipment and living space modifications.

Through the Assistive Devices Program, Bill will have access to some of the items he will require, but they will only be covered at 75%, and Bill will be required to pay the other 25% out of pocket. Unfortunately, Bill does not have any additional insurance to cover these costs. We aim to ease this financial burden for Bill so he can focus on getting better and back to the course and the people he loves.
