Bill Carrington was diagnosed with brain cancer in October of 2015. Bill has 4 wonderful, supportive and amazing adult children and he and his wife Christi are parents to a beautiful seven-year-old girl and a handsome three-year-old boy. Christi is a registered nurse who spends her days caring for others and saving lives in the ER and her nights caring for her husband and young family.

 Bill has already undergone brain surgery and completed a course of painful radiation treatment. Once he is strong enough he will undergo a six-month course of chemotherapy. Because of complications from the cancer treatments Bill is no longer able to work. He often has to go to the hospital for treatment because of side effects from his cancer treatments.

 In many ways, Bill and Christi feel blessed. Christi has a good job that she loves, two wonderful children, and good health insurance. But, Bill and Christi need help. Even their insurance does not cover all of their mounting medical expenses. They have to pay thousands of dollars in co-pays and other out of pocket medical expenses. Bill doesn’t qualify for any type of disability, even though the cancer and the treatments have ravaged his body, leaving him unable to work.

 With Bill not working and the medical bills continuing to pile up, Bill and Christi need help to make sure they can keep a roof over their family’s head, food on the table, gas in the car, and the ability to pay for Bill’s future medical expenses.
