Surviving Skye Billboard
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Megan Lebron. My sister Skye Budnick went missing on April 1, 2008. She took a one-way ticket from Connecticut to Sapporo, Japan, and she was never seen again.
It has been fifteen years since Skye went missing, fifteen years without any answers as to what could have happened to her. Over the past year, I have embarked on a personal journey to face the grief, bring awareness, and hope to find answers to Skye's case.
At this point in the journey, we need to go back to Japan. I am going to work out all the logistics and the goal is to set up a trip. I want to retrace the steps that my mother and I took back in 2008 and I want to expand on that and continue on the route that Skye took.
I also need to get my hands on the police report in Japan. That may include legal fees but at this point this is what needs to be done.
I appreciate support from all of those who have been following this story. I can't thank you enough for the patience and understanding that cases like this are not easy to live with let alone pursue. It has been a balancing act to keep all aspects of my life and healing above water, but I believe my family and I are in a good place to take the step and go back to Japan.
Donations will go towards the cost of the going to Japan, logistics, incidentals, legal fees, and so forth.
