Billie Joe memorial fund raiser

Billie-Joe, mother to 4 children, 2 grandchildren and loving wife and friend to many, was taken from us due to cancer of the stomach and liver, 12 days after diagnosis.

As a family we aim to cherish her memory by supporting local families who are in the greatest need through a yearly fundraising event.

Last year's event raised over £1800 to support 2 families whose children were diagnosed with cancer, providing funds to support with a prosthetic limb for one child and financial support for the second family whose young son was diagnosed with leukaemia.

He has since made full recovery and the family were able to be by his side in hospital every day thanks to everyone's donations.

This year we will be holding charity football match on Saturday 31st August at Jarrovians football ground in Hebburn from 2pm till 5pm.
