Billie’s Spinal Surgery ❤️
Donation protected
Who is Billie?
Billie is my 2 year old Frug (Frenchie x Pug), he’s the friendliest and most adventurous dog you could ever know. He’s my absolute world and best mate ❤️
What happened?
Less than 48 hour ago, Billie began losing momentum in his rear legs, after a couple of trips to the vets, Billie was taken to see a specialist for Degenerative Myelopathy as he had become completely paralysed throughout his lower half in the space of a day.
Today, he has been taken for an MRI scan where they found 3 inflamed discs in his spine, I was given the decision to either put him to sleep or go ahead with spinal surgery with a 60% chance of full recovery. It was not a decision I took lightly but I made the decision to go ahead with the surgery, This means when he comes home, Billie will have to learn how to walk again and how to control his bladder, this process will take months and be hard work.
What do we need to raise?
The MRI scan will cost around £3500 and the Surgery around £4000 as well as there may be additional costs for overnight care. I work full time and already have a second job for the evenings to try earn the funds for this however he needs full time care in order to recover so please, any donation in order for me to pay for the MRI and surgery and free me to look after my boy will be so gratefully appreciated. ❤️
More about Billie
Billie absolutely loves running on the beach, playing with his dog friends and swimming, he’s so energetic and needs to recover to get back to his old self which he can’t do without the use of his rear legs, it breaks my heart to see him in pain and having to go through this, especially so young, I just want to give him the best little life possible.
Please Donate (If you can)
ANY donation is so greatly appreciated 100% of the funds will go towards Billies surgery and recovery.
Thank you,
Wade ❤️
