Bills fight with TBI ❤️ You got this Dad

Donation protected

Hello!

My Name is Faith. On Thursday May 9th, my dad (everybody knows him as Bill) was found unconscious on his bedroom floor by my Brother. A scan showed that he had a 10 mm bleed on the right side of his brain. He was life flighted to a hospital that specializes in critical Neuro conditions. They did a craniotomy, which requires removing the right portion of his skull to reduce the pressure being put on his brain. We are not sure what happened, but the doctor said there were signs of an early brain bleed. My dad is currently intubated in the NeuroICU. My mom by his side, when visiting hours allow her to be. My mother was admitted to the hospital the prior night with a large blood clot in her leg and was supposed to get a thrombectomy, only to get the news that my father was critical. She insisted on being by his side. That Thursday morning, my family was scheduled to leave to come to my sister Brooke’s college graduation at Lycoming college but is now watching and listening virtually. Currently my mom has been getting Ubers and rides from our loving family and friends to be with my dad, but it is a bit of a distance to the hospital from where my parents live. My dad is the strong bread winner, the beam that holds and supports my families structure. With him being in the hospital and not having much savings prepared my mom needs your help. Every penny counts. If you don’t feel comfortable with donating on here I have other ways of donation set up. We appreciate your support and love. The money raised will go towards bills, rides, and necessities as needed.

I will provide updates when I have them.

with all my love,
Faith

Dad and his Little boy, Dinky.

update 05/12 : I came home from Pittsburgh to see him. Dad has Pneumonia, they started him on antibiotics. We are very hopeful. Mom spent Mother’s Day at Dads side. We are cheering you on Dad! ❤️

05/13: Dad is in a coma. EEG is showing some brain activity, they think the antibiotics are helping. We spoke with the doctor today and they said it might be a while before we see progress and to stay in the moment. They made it clear that my dad, who is a very hard worker will not be the same person. We are keeping our heads up and praying, even if it’s baby steps.
