This is Bacon.
He was adopted from HSNBA as a kitten and apparently left to roam at a young age. We can't tell exactly what happened, but his front leg is mangled beyond repair and his jaw is also in need of reconstructive surgery. He found his way back to us by way of a Good Samaritan who could tell he needed help. When we called his previous adopter, and let them know he was hurt and back in our shelter, they couldn't afford to treat him and surrendered him.
The estimates, even with our generous discounts from Creekview Vet Clinic are reaching $1200. His leg amputation and the delicate reconstructive surgery he needs to properly repair his jaw are more than we can afford.
HSNBA also can't afford the moral capital to not help him and consider euthanizing him to end suffering we can actually alleviate, together with your help.
