Bill’s Kidney Transplant Journey

Hello everyone! My name is Sara and i have had the pleasure of being friends with Megan, Bill's wife, for well over 15 years! As many of you know, Bill is in need of a kidney because he suffers with Polysystic Kidney Disease. The good news is, after a few months of many, many, friends, family and even strangers, submitted their information to see if they could be a potential match for a kidney for Bill, they have found one! This gracious souls's name is Sherry and we couldn't be more thankful for her strength and courage to help Bill in this time of need.

Bill is currently scheduled to receive his kidney transplant June 15th! In the mean time Bill and Megan have been traveling to and from Geisinger in Danville, PA from their home for testing and preop. During the transplant process, Bill will be hospitalized for quite a bit and Megan and family will be by his side.

Megan will need to stay in a hotel, pay for childcare for their two sweet kids back home, have their various animals,food and gas expenses just to name a few. They will need these funds leading up to and even after the surgery as he will have many, many follow up visits!

This is going to be set up for Bill, Megan and their family to be able to be able to financially not have to worry about these extra expenses. No one should have to worry about this during the time they need to focus on health.

Bill and Megan are both hardwording individuals with various jobs and self-owned businesses that are successful, not to mention amazing parents, and strong believers in their faith. They are always volunteering their time and finances to others in need and now it is our time to help them. This is something i know as a community we can do for them!
