Jason’s Recovery

Hello, My name is Bailey Storey. I’m starting a fundraiser for my father Jason Storey (Weezer) as many of you know him as. On Thursday, April 13th our family got devastating news about an accident that my dad was a passenger of up at our families cabins, one of his favorite places to be. As the passenger of the side by side accident he got ejected from the vehicle. Which caused him to suffer many life changing injuries (multiple critical skull fractures, small spinal fracture, etc) we all know how serious head trauma can be, but through this miraculously he has so far survived his injuries. He is currently away from home, in Wisconsin fighting these injuries. As his daughter, I know how strong of a man my father is and that’s because he raised me to be as strong as him and when I am able to talk to him again I will tell him all the kind words from our community & friends, but genuinely at this time he does need all the help he can get as well as all the prayers. After these injuries his life from here on out is to be determined (if he is able to work, how he will be able to work, or if he will have to be in an assisted living facility). So my goal with this fundraiser is simply just to make it easier on myself, my family & especially my father at this time. As a single father my dad has always been the one to care about his daughter more than himself and has sacrificed so much and he has always done is so selflessly, he has always worried about me and making sure I accomplish all my goals and all my future plans. & I want him to be able to see all those thing wether it’s me graduating college, nursing school, and becoming a nurse & doing the exact thing that is currently saving his life. I was originally going to keep this short and simple but one thing about my dad is he is definitely not just short and simple, he’s quite chaotic actually but we’ve all come to love that about him. And everyone that has ever been around him can vouche for that. All money raised will go to my dads medical bills, bills at home, & any future medical bills, so him and I and the entirety of my family can live more comfortably and stress free. :) & obviously do not feel obligated to donate if you cannot at this time, thoughts and prayers and kind words are just as appreciated :) & thank you to everyone for everything! - his daughter bailey!
