Hospital expenses and bills for Donna S McCauley

My name is Lindsey and I am one of Donna’s three children.

My mom was diagnosed with Triple Negative-Invasive Ductal Carcinoma on 10/06/2022.

As of today, she has done 10 rounds of chemo.

Sunday morning, she woke up with a fever and by noon it was 103.1.

She is currently in the hospital fighting an unknown infection.

She has undergone 3 blood transfusions, many tests, has been getting fluids and antibiotics.

Her oncologist has decided that her body will not be able to handle anymore chemo.

When she began treatment in November, she was still working 2-3 days a week while getting chemo every Friday up until the beginning of January.

Her employer has now placed her on unpaid leave until further notice, but unfortunately the bills don’t stop coming and she doesn’t qualify for FMLA because of her reduced hours when she began treatment.

My family is doing everything they can to help with groceries, bills, etc, but it just isn’t enough.

My mom is stubborn and never asks anyone for help, so I am asking for her.
