BILL'S TEXAS DREAM

Two years ago, the unthinkable happened. After spending a lifetime knowing next to nothing about his father, 77 year old Bill finally discovered he has an entire family in America.

Bill had been desperate to find out any information, so he worked with a BBC Documentary series to test his DNA in search for living relatives. During this experience Bill learned that the stories his mother told him were true – his father was an African American GI whom she had fallen in love with while he was stationed in England during World War Two.

The TV series also discovered Bill’s family in Texas were eager to meet him– a niece, nephew and lots of cousins.

At 77 and in poor health, it's Bill's ultimate dream to meet his new family before it’s too late. We would be incredibly grateful for any help you could provide making Bill’s wish come true. All funds donated will go towards Bill and Julie's travel costs, hotels and insurance.
