Billy and Allye Prinz Medical Recovery
Donation protected
Friends and family, on July 1, 2023, Billy Prinz was hospitalized due to a sudden massive heart attack. During the many tests which were done on Billy’s heart, it was discovered that his LAD (left anterior descending) artery completely collapsed due to extensive blood clotting. To repair this, Billy underwent an angiogram twice and had two stents put in. In addition to that, it was discovered that he has a rare and life-threatening condition called SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) on the right side of his heart. SCAD is when a separation or tear occurs in the wall of a coronary artery. When this happens, blood can begin to pool between the layers of the artery, eventually leading to a clot, reduced blood flow and heart attack. SCAD can happen more than once, despite successful treatment, either soon after the first episode or years later.
Billy was moved from the ICU on July 2nd and is doing remarkably well for his condition. We thank God for that! However, it is still a serious condition and he will need at least 3 months of recovery time. He has recently been working extra hours at his regular job and taking side jobs to help cover expenses incurred when his wife, Allye, donated a portion of her liver to her cousin less than 3 months ago. Allye is doing great but is still recovering from that surgery and was given some physical restrictions that have meant she has not been able to return to her work as a developmentally disabled nursing assistant.
As we know, insurance doesn’t cover medical bills in full and expenses can compile quickly. We ask, first of all, for your prayers for a full recovery for both Billy and Allye, and that Billy will be protected from any further occurrences. Thank you!
If you are able to contribute to this medical fund, that would be very helpful and very much appreciated! Again, we thank you and Billy and Allye thank you!
We will do our best to keep you posted on their progress.
