Billy Bascom House Fire Relief Fund

Update: 11/6/23- The outpouring of support for my close friend and work partner Bill Bascom has been tremendous. The beneficiary Bill Bascom has truly been touched by the Canton community, hockey community, and other friends and families. Whatever we are able to raise will go directly to Billy. These funds will play a pivotal roll in securing housing, replacing lost items such as clothing, furniture, and all other needs after losing nearly everything in his house fire. It is amazing the support that has been shown for our community member and friend. Thank you!

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a deep sense of urgency. Our dear friend and dedicated member of the Canton community, Bill Bascom, recently suffered a devastating loss when his home was tragically engulfed in flames. Thankfully no one was hurt or injured including his two dogs, and cat. As fellow residents, we are determined to rally around Bill during this time.

Bill has been an indispensable figure in the Canton hockey community for many years, serving as our beloved Skating Saint equipment manager. His unwavering dedication, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need have left an indelible mark on our community. Whether it's sharpening skates, arranging equipment, or simply offering a warm smile, Bill has certainly left his mark.

Now, it's our turn to extend a helping hand to Bill. While the loss of his home is an incredibly daunting challenge, we believe that together, we can make a significant difference. We are launching a GoFundMe campaign to provide financial assistance for Bill as he rebuilds and recovers from this devastating event.
