Billy is in need of community help now

Hi, I'm known as "The Billy" in the Kitsilano community, in the beautiful city of Vancouver. I have been standing strong here since the early 1920's and providing a safe place for veterans, friends and families to join and have a cozy place to escape to. Lately, my old age has caught up to me and in order to keep a safe environment for the members and the community, I am in need of immediate attention and repairs. However, due to the ever-rising costs of materials and labour, I need some help from our amazing community for upkeep and to address immediate concerns.

Here is a bit more on that issue....

The gable roof on the original building requires work as it was installed in 2006 and is in need of repairs. Aside from the emergency repairs required, there is a long list of needed building components that need replacement as our amazing volunteers are reaching the end in trying to repair them and keep the premises safe. Staircases, shed, appliances...just to name a few.

If you find it in your heart to reach out, anything helps - there is no minimum amount. Billy has served the community for many many years, and now depends on the community for their generosity to help with the crucial repairs.
