Billy Keenan “Miles to Go!”

Billy Keenan was an Irish Singer/Performer, a US Army Veteran, and Rockland County History Teacher, who suffered life threatening injuries as a result of an accident in 2013.

Since that time, he has struggled financially and emotionally, however his formidable faith in God and determination to serve others regardless of his situation has and continues to make him a model for others.

 

Billy has gone through more hardship, however, in the past few years, well after his accident left him paralyzed. The community rallied around Billy in 2014 at numerous fundraising events. Unfortunately, the funds were not made available for Billy. He went to the courts seeking justice. 

The legal proceedings did not find in Billy’s favor and he is now faced with serious and substantial legal fees forced on him or he will lose his last possession he has - his home.

 

Before the accident, Billy donated his talent and time to COUNTLESS fundraisers for people in need across the entire Tri-State Area and beyond. He is desperate to get this last hurdle behind him so he can continue on his mission to serve others through his speaking engagements in the community. After all he has been through, Billy often says, “I have so much more to give!”

We humbly ask that you give what you can to Billy Keenan so he can move on to the next chapter in his life which is carrying his message of hope, perseverance, and perspective.
