Billy McWilliams

Hello, my name is Emily McWilliams, I am Billy’s older sister. In the early morning of July 28, 2023 Billy was tragically killed in a hit and run. He passed away doing what he loved, riding his bike. Billy had the biggest heart! He adored his family, friends and his girlfriend. As his older sister, I always wanted to keep my younger siblings safe and protected at all times, but Billy had a different kind of love for me and his younger sister, Riley. He always made sure Riley and I were safe and protected, he defended us through thick and thin. Our mom and dad were his best friends. Although he was 16, we never underestimated the passion for life that he had, and his ability to do whatever he put his mind to. Our parents were so proud of him for everything he accomplished. Billy was the most energetic 16 year old I knew. He loved riding his bike, playing video games, playing tons of sports, hanging out with his friends and family and overall just being outside. He loved life and lived everyday like it was his last. He had the biggest smile that lit up any room he walked into and his laugh was contagious. His energy was vibrant and warm and he made everyone around him comfortable and happy. Everyone misses Billy so much and none of us can believe he is no longer here with us. As each day goes on, and the person who tragically killed my brother is still out there, we are all fighting to get justice for Billy.
