Billy Moore's cancer recovery

As some of you may know Billy had an infection in August that caused him to be hospitalized in green bay WI for a week and have surgery. They had done a biopsy on his abssess then and found no cancer and we thought Billy was in the clear.

Billy has had a bump on the right side of his neck that comes and goes with no pain. After some convincing from Casey and I (sara) Billy went and got it looked at and unfortunately it has come back positive for Squamis cell carcinoma in his tonsils.

Going forward Billy has to have some scans done to find out if it's spread at all and what stage it is. One of those scans has to be done with a machine that our local hospital shares so we may have to travel to get that one done.

Once the tests are all done then chemo and radiation will start. Living in a small town we don't have any of that here so we have to travel to a different hospital. We're not sure which one yet but it could be: Marquette, WI, MN or downstate MI. Radiation 5 days a week and chemo once a week.

We've created this page to keep everyone up to date on everything so we can focus more on helping Billy get better. Please pray for Billy to stay strong and have courage through all of this.
