Betting on Billy Nutter

You go through life plugging along and then damn, your entire world changes!! That’s what happened to Billy (Nutter) on Friday, July 15th when he suffered a massive stroke and was later found unconscious by his daughters.

We are all so incredibly thankful that he’s still with us. SO THANKFUL!! However, just a few days into his recovery we’ve realized that the quality of his life is directly dependent on our ability, as his loved ones to find the best possible physicians, therapists and rehabilitation center available. It’s really that simple. And, the truth of the matter is that money opens those doors, and a lack of insurance closes them.

We all want the very best for Billy (Dad, Brother, Son, Uncle, Friend) but frankly, none of us won the PowerBall a few days ago, so we need your help! HE NEEDS YOUR HELP!! We don’t want him getting basic, mediocre care. While we recognize that he is never going to be 100%, we want him to fucking rock this world like he always has, blaring rock and roll, belly laughing, lighting one up and helping anyone who needs it, riding his motorcycle, driving like the “Nut”ter he is. We simply can’t settle for “he might eventually have some movement in his right side.” We want him walking and talking and able to care for himself. We want his Eaton arms wrapping around us again giving the best hugs in the world to anyone who needs it.

So, please dig deep and help us give him a chance at the quality of life he deserves. Think back and remember the times he’s helped you, stood by you, supported you, and loved you. NEVER has Billy needed you more. NEVER have we needed your help more. Please donate what you can today, it will not only make a difference, but it will also likely change the quality of his life!

We would also like to plaster our community with signs that say “Nutter Strong.” We plan to create a video of all of the signs littering the island and show Billy how much love and support he has back here in his community, our community. THANK YOU!
