Billy Wolcott

Recently you are probably aware of the flooding that took place in the Houston and surrounding areas. So many families have still not recovered from the devastation we experienced in Hurricane Harvey. Billy Wolcott and his family fell victim to both. When Harvey hit just a couple years back the Wolcott family lost everything and had to rebuild. Less than a year after completion, disaster struck again. Entire house flooded. Personal items including but not limited to clothing, jewelry, furniture, pictures, vehicles and more were wiped out. The water came up swiftly and there was not enough time to do much more than escape with the clothes on their back and a few things they could carry. I have watched several families go through this agonizing process and it is truly heartbreaking and stressful. I have not until now been witness to someone I know, having it happen twice.  I have known Billy close to 20 years. He is a very prideful hard working man. He has not asked me for anything at all. I am reaching out to my friends, family and  Glo family as a plea for help on his behalf. I have never done this type of thing so please forgive me if this request is not within the proper protocols for something of this nature. I have prayed about this and finally asked Billy this morning if he would be offended if I tried to raise some money to help his family. I could hear his voice crack when he replied "normally could not accept but right now any lifeline thrown at him would be difficult not to accept." Please know that nothing is expected but anything you can do will be forever appreciated! I assure you Billy is the type to be there should you ever need him as well! Our goal is $25,000.00 which is not even close to what he is out but would go a very long way towards helping ease some of the expenses they are facing.
